Atlanta’s Public Notary is a mobile notary service run by Brian Pickens, a commissioned Georgia Notary Public and NNA-certified signing agent based in Roswell. Instead of hunting for a bank or shipping store that still has a notary on staff, you pick the time and place and I come to you.

Georgia caps the notarial fee at $2 per notarial act. Travel and convenience fees are separate, disclosed in advance and agreed before the appointment.

Common questions
How much does a mobile notary cost?
Mobile appointments start at a $20 minimum, which covers travel in the primary North Atlanta area and one notarized signature. Georgia limits the notarial fee itself to $2 per act; travel and convenience fees are separate and agreed before the appointment. Extra documents, signers and mileage outside the primary area add to the total, and you will always get the full quote first.
What do I need to bring?
A current, unexpired government-issued photo ID for every signer (driver’s license, state ID, passport or military ID) and the complete document. Don’t sign it ahead of time unless I tell you it’s already acknowledged.
Do you offer same-day, evening and weekend appointments?
Yes. Same-day, early-morning, evening and weekend appointments are available. Call or text 404-449-8436 for urgent requests.
Can you come to a hospital, nursing home or jail?
Yes, I regularly visit hospitals, rehab centers, assisted living and senior communities. The signer must be alert, able to communicate and willing to sign, and must have valid ID. Jail visits are available by request and depend on facility rules.
Can you help me fill out my form or tell me which document I need?
No. A notary who is not an attorney cannot give legal advice, choose a document for you or explain its legal effect. Please ask an attorney or the agency that requested the document.
Which areas do you serve?
Roswell, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Dunwoody, Marietta and the rest of North Atlanta are my primary area. I also travel throughout Fulton, Cobb, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Forsyth, Cherokee, Clayton, Henry, Fayette, Douglas, Paulding and Rockdale counties for an added mileage fee.
